Federation Clubs

The City of Los Angeles is a grand mix of cultures, traditions, and community values intertwined within all our communities.  Recognizing the various interests and leisure activities of our growing adult population, the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks created the  Federation of Senior Citizen Clubs.  Unique recreation opportunities are provided to City residents through senior citizen clubs that gather together on a regular basis to share experiences,  meet new friends, and enjoy life.

There are many benefits of becoming a member of a senior club:

• Clubs provide the opportunity for older adults to participate in wholesome recreational  activities in the senior community
• Clubs provide the intellectual growth, cultural development, and service to the community
• Clubs provide opportunities to socialize and develop friendships
• Clubs stimulate a spirit of mutual helpfulness and loyalty among its members
• Clubs inform members on current events and local, state, and federal laws that affect older  adults
• Recognion and celebraon at Special City sponsored events (Presidents’ Luncheon,  90+  Los Angeles Legacy Luncheon, and more)
